“We all had a great time from the first minute and I think this Brighton show has really grown and improved over the years. I love the fast pace of it all, if one gag does not get you another one will be along in a second in a breathless Christmas feast of fun.

The director David Hill was born to be a dame and as Dame Trott, his beaming smile is infectious. Allan Jay as Silly Billy got the crowd going and Alfie Murray as Jack Trott, alongside Eloise Bell as Princess Jill pulled off some excellent singing. Alfie Ordinary as Daisy the Cow and the rest of the cast made it a proper Brighton show.

Jay and Murray combined really well in a comic singing medley that was typical of the night - lightning quick changes and smiles all round. The show's costumes were fabulous too.

The huge giant added that special touch to help make the show a success and with everyone on their feet at the end the verdict was clear - Jack and the Beanstalk by The Brighton Family Panto looks a big success.”
